Despair to Hope

C.H.I.L.D strives to transform the lives of children filled with vacuum, tears and despair to lives upped with hope, happiness and radiance.

Stories of the Children at C.H.I.L.D:

The girl on the opening page of the website, Uma (5) & her brother Raju (4), were left behind by their mother, post their father's death. The cries of the children for food & shelter, made the locals feel pity for them and bring them to C.H.I.L.D. Today, they have food to eat, a better school to study and the best shelter- the C.H.I.L.D home to live-in.


The pathetic story of two children, published in a local newspaper, read like this:
"Mother committed suicide right in front of the horrified children and the father took to his heels, owing to debts, leaving the siblings orphaned and traumatized".
This story led the founder of C.H.I.L.D to finding the children and relieving them of their grief-stricken lives.

Another pair of siblings, Sravani (6) & Tagore (4) had a similar fate of losing their mother in an accident, in which a branch of a tree on the roadside fell on her and she succumbed to the injury. Their father's trials to put them to work and get rid of their responsibility went in vain, as this news item came into the focus of the founder, who brought them to the C.H.I.L.D Home. The children fare unbeatably well in their studies, always ranking number 1 in their respective classes.

Hope and comfort in the form of C.H.I.L.D reached a fourth pair of siblings, Vivekananda (7) and Anusha (5), when their mother breathed her last in K.G.H due to severe illness. It was the doctors of K.G.H. who informed C.H.I.L.D about the destituted children and requested the founder to absorb them into the C.H.I.L.D family. Nevertheless to say, the siblings never let the founder feel disappointed, as they are the top rankers in their respective standards.

Mother's hospitalization due to unconditional health and father's death left the siblings Gayatri (5) and Srinivas (7) hapless and lonely, none being to take care of them. Their mother's request to home these children reached the founder through some Sai Baba devotees and undoubtedly, the siblings excel themselves both in studies and art forms, in the kind shelter of C.H.I.L.D Home.
