About C.H.I.L.D:
C.H.I.L.D. is a non-governmental, non-profitable organization, established in the year 1995 and recognized by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. This is a Home with ample of Love and Affection towards orphan children. It is homing 27 children, several of them siblings. Some of these children have lost their parents to uniquely painful situations. C.H.I.L.D. traces these children through the pathetic stories published in news papers, reported on TV channels and some abandoned by the parents because of social/economic reasons and left with no family, no home and no hope. C.H.I.L.D embraces such children and moulds them into happy, healthy and self-confident ones. Fortunate smiles show-up on their faces, as they thrive in a healthy environment of one big family.
C.H.I.L.D. is not an impulsive thought...it has taken years to shape up to what it is today - ‘an abode for the little ones’. It has not started as an institution, but has slowly grown into one, after the founder brought home two children in the year 1989, who have now grown up into respectable citizens of the society, after some years of stay with the founder. The nature of C.H.I.L.D. is purely selfless, aimed at providing haven to orphan children, apart from embarking on them quality education and the right set of values, which in turn lead to their well-being in the society. They are privileged with good food, smart clothes and taught several art forms.
Over the years C.H.I.L.D. has made remarkable progress. The children at C.H.I.L.D today, school well, are confident, well mannered and polite - very different from where they had their beginnings, which were insecure, scarred and unsure of every facet of their lives. Now they are enjoying their childhood, by learning classical Dance, singing and playing with fervor. All this could happen only with the loving personal attention of the Founder, C.H.I.L.D team and its staunch supporters.
