Founder’s Message:

Though it sounds unrealistic in today’s materialistic world, the fact remains that the seeds of C.H.I.L.D. were sown much earlier - nearly two decades ago. Being fond of children in general, I brought home two impoverished kids and shouldered their responsibility with the help of some friends. I was unaware at that time, that this seemingly innocent act of love and concern for such children would lay the foundation of C.H.I.L.D organization.

In due course of the journey just initiated, marriage, followed by motherhood to 3 children drove its way into my life. But undeterred by the multifold responsibilities and blessed by the unconditional and unstinting support of my husband and my family, I continued my journey of love and service, as a doting mother for hapless children. The view that such children, when left alone, may be drawn towards rebellious behavioural patterns, churning out them into irresponsible outcasts, brought into my mind the philosophy that 'proper care and support,backed by a strong vision' will alow them to dream and cherish a blissful life. This philosophical turn of my mind made me bring home two, three, four... now 30 children and build a big family with brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends, well wishers and of course myself, the fortunate one, as a MOTHER. Thus, my vision became a reality – an ambitious project, thanks to all my friends and supporters, who have given me and the organization their enthusiastic help, advice and support at all times, making it a laudable one. As of now, the tinted lives of the children have shined up owing to the rays of the supporters. I am hopeful of more rays showing up, thereby helping the children bloom into blissful people, besides letting some more flowers join the bunch.
